PRESOLICITATION NOTICE RFQ # 36C77622Q0254 HONOLULU PKG 097 OVERHEAD PATIENT LIFT SYSTEMS The VA Pacific Islands Health Care System has a requirement to purchase three (3) Overhead Patient Lift Systems. This is a Brand Name or Equal Requirement. This requirement is in support of the activation of New Akaka VA Clinic located in Kapolei, Hawaii. Handicare C-625 is the basis for design. This notice serves as the synopsis of the proposed contract action in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.204, FAR 5.201, and FAR 13.105. The solicitation will be issued as a brand name or equal Request for Quotes (RFQ) set-aside 100% for Small Business (SB) concerns conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, FAR 13.106-1(d), and FAR 19.502-2. The formal request for quotes (RFQ) will be posted to Contract Opportunities on/about March 8, 2023, and quotes will be due on March 21, 2023, at 1:00 PM (Eastern). To submit a quote in response to this notice, please follow the directions in the RFQ that can be found through Contract Opportunities at the RFQ number identified above. Questions of a technical nature will not be answered as part of this notice; however, all general questions may be submitted in writing to the Contract Specialist Kristy Svendsen at kristy.svendsen@va.gov and also the Contracting Officer via email at grace.kelly-burnsworth@va.gov. Telephone calls will not be accepted as a part of this notice. Technical and contract-related questions in response to the RFQ will be accepted in accordance with the RFQ instructions.
