PRESOLICITATION NOTICE RFQ #36C77623Q0134 RAPID CITY PACKAGE # 009 UPS AND PDU S January 4, 2023 The VA Black Hills Health Care System (VA BHHSC) in Rapid City, SD is in need of Uninterrupted Power Supply s (UPS) and Power Distribution Units (PDU s) (BRAND NAME OR EQUAL) as part of the initial outfitting of the newly constructed Rapid City Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC). This notice serves as the synopsis of the proposed contract action in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.204 and FAR 5.201. The solicitation will be issued as an unrestricted brand name or equal Request for Quotes (RFQ) conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. The formal request for quotes (RFQ) will be posted to Contract Opportunities on/about Thursday January 5, 2023 and quotes will be due on Thursday, January, 12 2023 at 10:00 am (Eastern). NOTE: While this requirement is being competed using full and open competition, VA Acquisition Regulation (VAAR) clause 852.215-70 (Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned and Veteran-Owned Small Business Evaluation Factors) will be included in the RFQ that provides additional credit to SDVOSB and VOSB concerns. To receive credit as an SDVOSB or VOSB, the offeror shall be registered and verified in the Vendor Information Pages (VIP) at https://vetbiz.va.gov/vip/ by quote submittal. Full credit will be provided to eligible SDVOSB concerns and partial credit will be provided to eligible VOSB concerns. To submit a quote in response to this notice, please follow the directions in the RFQ that can be found through Contract Opportunities at the RFQ number identified above. Questions of a technical nature will not be answered as part of this notice; however, all general questions may be submitted in writing to the issuing office via email at aimee.maxel@va.gov and michelle.rhodes@va.gov. Telephone calls will not be accepted as a part of this notice.
