PRESOLICITATION NOTICE RFQ # 36C77623Q0088 RAPID CITY PKG 53 FRIDGES AND FREEZERS (BRAND NAME OR EQUAL) The Department of Veterans Affairs, Black Hills Health Care System in Rapid City, SD has a requirement to purchase Follett refrigerators and freezers (brand name or equal) as part of the initial outfitting of the newly constructed Outpatient Clinic being constructed in Rapid City, SD. This notice serves as the synopsis of the proposed contract action in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.204, FAR 5.201, and FAR 13.105. The solicitation will be issued as a brand name or equal Request for Quotes (RFQ) set-aside 100% for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, FAR 13.106-1(d), and Veterans Affairs Acquisition Regulations (VAAR) 819.7006. The formal request for quotes (RFQ) will be posted to Contract Opportunities on/about December 8, 2022 and quotes will be due on December 20, 2022 at 1:00 PM (Eastern). To submit a quote in response to this notice, please follow the directions in the RFQ that can be found through Contract Opportunities at the RFQ number identified above. A copy of the Statemenet of Work is included with this Pre-Solicitation Notice for your information. Questions of a technical nature will not be answered as part of this notice; however, all general questions may be submitted in writing to the Contract Specialist Rachael Avery at rachael.avery@va.gov and also the Contracting Officer via email at grace.kelly-burnsworth@va.gov. Telephone calls will not be accepted as a part of this notice. Technical and contract-related questions in response to the RFQ will be accepted in accordance with the RFQ instructions.
