The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) anticipates soliciting bids and subsequently awarding a single Firm-Fixed-Price contract for the Design-Bid-Build EHRM Infrastructure Data Center Upgrades Construction project at the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center (VAMC) located at 1826 Veterans Blvd., Dublin, GA 31021 PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Carl Vinson VAMC is seeking a general contractor to furnish all labor, tools, material, equipment, and supervision to construct “557-20-105 EHRM Infrastructure Data Center Upgrades” at the Carl Vinson VAMC, Dublin, GA. Work will include general construction activities to renovate area of Building 40, for EHRM implementation at 1826 Veterans Blvd. Dublin, GA 31021. This project is A/E designed and all work will be in accordance with drawings and specifications given to the contractor by the VA ADMINISTRATIVE: The solicitation will be issued as a “Invitation for Bid” (IFB) conducted in accordance with FAR Part 14 and will be evaluated in accordance with the procedures listed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be advertised as a total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. Offers received from other than SDVOSB concerns will not be considered. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 with a size standard of $45 million. The solicitation will be issued in mid-July of 2023. The period of performance is approximately 460 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. In accordance with VAAR 836.204, the magnitude of construction is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. This notice is not a request for competitive offers.
