Project involves general construction, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, demolition of existing modular building T203, selected site utilities, gravel parking lot, select concrete walkways, and select trees. Page 1 of 1 INTRODUCTION: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) anticipates soliciting bids and subsequently awarding a single Firm-Fixed-Price contract for the Design-Bid-Build Construct Dental Clinic (Minor) Construction project at the Bay Pines VA Medical Center (VAMC) located at 10000 Bay Pines Blvd., Bay Pines, FL 33744. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Bay Pines VAMC is seeking a general contractor to furnish all labor, tools, material, equipment, and supervision to construct a Dental Clinic. Project involves general construction, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, demolition of existing modular building T203, selected site utilities, gravel parking lot, select concrete walkways, and select trees. General construction will also include installation of a new generator, and the construction of parking lot and driveway with permeable pavement. ADMINISTRATIVE: The solicitation will be issued as a Invitation for Bid (IFB) conducted in accordance with FAR Part 14 and will be evaluated in accordance with the procedures listed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be advertised as a total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. Offers received from other than SDVOSB concerns will not be considered. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 with a size standard of $45 million. The solicitation will be issued in mid to late April of 2023. The period of performance is approximately 550 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. In accordance with VAAR 836.204, the magnitude of construction is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. This notice is not a request for competitive offers.
