Pre-solicitation Notice LWW Total Access Collection and BMJ Titles Solicitation Number: 36C77622R01344 The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Program Contracting Activity Central anticipates soliciting proposals through a competitive small business set aside and subsequently awarding a Firm Fixed-Price Contract for the Library Network Office (LNO). The Performance Work Statement shall consist of providing an online, web base subscription to the Lippincott Williams and Wilkins Total Access Collection and various British Medical Journal titles for the Office of Health Informatics offices; LNO and VA Central Office Library. The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 15. The solicitation will be advertised as a total small business set aside. The NAICS code for this procurement is 519130 and the Small Business Administration Size Standard is 1000 employees. The anticipated period of performance will be a nine (9) month base period plus four (4) twelve (12) month option periods. This notice is not a request for competitive offers. All questions must be submitted in writing to the issuing office via email at Benjamin.niznik@va.gov and Katherine.Gibney@va.gov. Telephone calls will not be accepted. The VA reserves the right to use only Contracting Opportunities, via the internet, to provide notification of any amendments to this notice and the subsequent solicitation.
