PRESOLICITATION NOTICE RFQ # 36C77622Q0474 CORPUS CHRISTI PKG X RUBBERMAID WASTE CANS AND HAMPERS (OR EQUAL) August 22, 2022 The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Texas Valley Coastal Bend (VCB) Healthcare System in Corpus Christi, TX has a requirement to purchase Rubbermaid Waste Cans and Hampers (brand name or equal) as part of the initial outfitting of the newly constructed Community Based Outpatient Clinic being constructed in Corpus Christi, TX. This notice serves as the synopsis of the proposed contract action in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.204, FAR 5.201, and FAR 13.105. The solicitation will be issued as a brand name or equal Request for Quotes (RFQ) set-aside 100% for Small Business concerns conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, FAR 13. The formal request for quotes (RFQ) will be posted to Contract Opportunities on/about Monday, August 22, 2022 and quotes will be due on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at 12:00 PM (Eastern). To submit a quote in response to this notice, please follow the directions in the RFQ that can be found through Contract Opportunities at the RFQ number identified above. A copy of the Statement of Work is included with this Pre-Solicitation Notice for your information. Questions of a technical nature will not be answered as part of this notice; however, all general questions may be submitted in writing to the Contract Specialist Jessica Rogers at jessica.rogers2@va.gov and also the Contracting Officer via email at michelle.rhodes@va.gov. Telephone calls will not be accepted as a part of this notice. Technical and contract-related questions in response to the RFQ will be accepted in accordance with the RFQ instructions.
