PRESOLICITATION NOTICE RFQ #36C77622Q0401 CORPUS CHRISTI PACKAGE L FERROMAGNETIC MRI DETECTOR July 11, 2022 The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Texas Valley Coastal Bend (VCB) Healthcare System, Corpus Christi CBOC needs a contract for the Metrasens Ferroguard Ferromagnetic MRI detectors (brand name or equal) as part of the initial outfitting of the newly constructed Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) being constructed in Corpus Christi, TX. This notice serves as the synopsis of the proposed contract action in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.204 and FAR 5.201. The solicitation will be issued as a brand name or equal Request for Quotes (RFQ) set-aside 100% for Small Business (SB) concerns conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. The formal request for quotes (RFQ) will be posted to Contract Opportunities on/about Monday July 11, 2022 and quotes will be due on Tuesday July 19, 2022 at 2:00 PM (Eastern). To submit a quote in response to this notice, please follow the directions in the RFQ that can be found through Contract Opportunities at the RFQ number identified above. Questions of a technical nature will not be answered as part of this notice; however, all general questions may be submitted in writing to the issuing office s Contracting Officer via email at michelle.rhodes@va.gov.
