PRESOLICITATION NOTICE RFQ #36C77622Q0127 PHOENIX PACKAGE 3 Welch Allyn Vital Sign Monitoring Equipment (OR EQUAL) January 20, 2021 The Department of Veterans Affairs, Phoenix VA Healthcare System in Phoenix, AZ has a requirement to purchase Welch Allyn Vital Sign Monitoring (brand name or equal) as part of the initial outfitting of the newly constructed Community Based Outpatient Clinic being constructed in Phoenix, AZ. This notice serves as the synopsis of the proposed contract action in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.204, FAR 5.201, and FAR 13.5. The solicitation will be issued as a brand name or equal Request for Quotes (RFQ) set-aside 100% for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(d), Subpart FAR 13.5, and VA Acquisition Regulation (VAAR) 819.7005. Only quotes from VetBiz verified SDVOSB concerns will be accepted. Reference: https://vetbiz.va.gov/. The formal request for quotes (RFQ) will be posted to Contract Opportunities on/about Monday, January 24, 2022 and quotes will be due on Tuesday, February 2, 2022 at 2:00 PM (Eastern). To submit a quote in response to this notice, please follow the directions in the RFQ that can be found through Contract Opportunities at the RFQ number identified above. A copy of the Statement of Work (SOW) is included with this Pre-Solicitation Notice for your information. Questions of a technical nature will not be answered as part of this notice; however, all general questions may be submitted in writing to the Contract Specialist, Aimee Maxel at aimee.maxel@va.gov and also the Contracting Officer via email at michelle.rhodes@va.gov. Telephone calls will not be accepted as a part of this notice. Technical and contract-related questions in response to the RFQ will be accepted in accordance with the RFQ instructions.
