INTRODUCTION: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) anticipates soliciting proposals and subsequently awarding a single, Firm-Fixed-Price contract using design-bid-build selection procedures to renovate Electrical/ Telecom Closets at Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center (VAMC), Charleston, SC. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The VAMC is seeking a general contractor that will provide all supervision, labor, equipment, and materials needed to complete work for project # 534-18-106, to Renovate Electrical and Telecom Closets per the drawings, specifications, and in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW) which will be provided. Work will consist of demolition, removal, and renovation of existing spaces to establish Electrical Telecom Closets that meet current standards and future system needs in the Medical Center. ADMINISTRATIVE: The solicitation will be issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB) conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 14, 19, and 36 and will be evaluated in accordance with the procedures listed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be advertised as a total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. Proposals received from other than SDVOSB concerns will not be considered. The applicable NAICS code is 238210 with a size standard of $16.5 Million. The solicitation will be issued in FY 2022 The period of performance is approximately 730 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The Magnitude of Construction is expected to be between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000.00. This notice is not a request for competitive offers. All questions must be submitted in writing to the issuing office via email to Elizabeth.Williams12@va.gov .  Telephone calls will not be accepted. Â
