INTRODUCTION: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) anticipates soliciting bids and subsequently awarding a single Firm-Fixed-Price contract for the Design-Bid-Build EHRM Training and Administrative Support Space Construction project at the Fargo VA Medical Center (VAMC) located at 2101 Elm Street North, Fargo, ND 58102. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Fargo VAMC is seeking a general contractor to furnish all labor, tools, material, equipment, and supervision to renovate approximately 8,100 square feet for the EHRM Training Room and Admin Support Space project, located in the basement level of the southwest area of the Fargo VAMC. Work includes general construction, alterations, necessary removal of existing structures and construction, millwork, permanently mounted equipment, interior finishes, and certain other items. ADMINISTRATIVE: The solicitation will be issued as a Invitation for Bid (IFB) conducted in accordance with FAR Part 14 and will be evaluated in accordance with the procedures listed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be advertised as a total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. Offers received from other than SDVOSB concerns will not be considered. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 with a size standard of $39.5 million. The solicitation will be issued in March of 2022. The period of performance is approximately 180 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. In accordance with VAAR 836.204, the magnitude of construction is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. This notice is not a request for competitive offers.
