Page 1 of 1 INTRODUCTION: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) anticipates soliciting bids and subsequently awarding a single Firm-Fixed-Price contract for the Design-Bid-Build Medical Specialty Clinic (Minor) Construction project at the Mather VA Medical Center (VAMC) located at 10535 Hospital Way, Mather, CA 95655. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing systems and structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for 612-122 Medical Specialties. Project includes: This shall include, but not limited to, completely preparing site for building operations, all demolition activities and/or removal of existing structures required to perform the work, foundations, superstructure, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, special systems, landscaping, and other site improvements as required by the drawings and specifications. The Overall Project will be performed north of existing shop building 730 and 731 in VA owned undeveloped parcel number APN 072-0609-105. ADMINISTRATIVE: The solicitation will be issued as a Invitation for Bid (IFB) conducted in accordance with FAR Part 14 and will be evaluated in accordance with the procedures listed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be advertised as a total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. Offers received from other than SDVOSB concerns will not be considered. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 with a size standard of $39.5 million. The solicitation will be issued in early March of 2022. The period of performance is approximately 365 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. In accordance with VAAR 836.204, the magnitude of construction is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. This notice is not a request for competitive offers.
