Page 1 of 1 INTRODUCTION: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) anticipates soliciting proposals and subsequently awarding a single Firm-Fixed-Price contract for the Construct Social Work Consolidated Clinic Space project at the Northern California Health Care System, Mather Campus, located at 10535 Hospital Way, Mather, California 95655. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for the construction of a new 14,568 square feet, two-story structure for the consolidation of Social Work, Home Based Primary Care, and Home Telehealth support. Work includes general construction, alterations, temporary roads, walks, grading, drainage, site work, landscaping, and necessary clearing of existing site conditions, as well as structural and framing work, electrical work, mechanical and plumbing work, and demolition. ADMINISTRATIVE: The solicitation will be issued as a Request For Proposal (RFP) conducted in accordance with FAR Part 36.3 Two-Phase Design-Build Selection Procedures and will be evaluated in accordance with the procedures listed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be advertised as a total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. Offers received from other than SDVOSB concerns will not be considered. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 with a size standard of $39.5 million. The solicitation is planned to be issued in mid July of 2021. The period of performance is approximately 500 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. In accordance with VAAR 836.204, the magnitude of construction is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. This notice is not a request for competitive offers.
