The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) anticipates soliciting proposals and subsequently awarding a multiple award, Firm-Fixed-Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract in support of TeleCare Companion, using FAR parts 12 and 15 procedures for this project. Update as of 5/28/20 regarding previous update on 5/27/20: CLIN 0002 "Site Assessment" and all ensuing optional year CLINS 1002, 2002, 3002, 4002 shall be removed from both Attachment B and C. Vendors shall NOT provide price quote for the Site Assessment CLINS per the IDIQ PWS, site assessments will be at the expense of the contractor. If any vendor does provide this price CLIN, it will be removed from the overall evaluated price. Due to administrative and system errors, the VA was unable to post this information via formal amendment. A formal amendment may be issued if the system allows it prior to solicitation closing date. Update as of 5/27/20, to Clarify Question #16 from Q&A: The PWS states, “Site assessments will be at the vendor’s expense for all task order work.” However, in the pricing documentation, On-Site Site Assessments are required to be priced. Can the government please clarify this discrepancy? This question applies to the Sample Task Order as well. Sample Task Order is for price evaluation only. Some deliverables may differ for the IDIQ contract and ensuing TO’s Answer: The sample task order is a mock sample strictly for price evaluation purposes only seeing as this is an IDIQ and no actual orders have taken place yet. CLINS such as On-Site Assessments may or may not be priced out at task order level, that is TBD per the facility. For the purpose of the "Sample Task Order", all requested CLINS must be priced out. Each Task Order may look different based on facility needs.
