36C77024Q0379 PURPOSE: This is a Request for Information(RFI)/Sources Sought announcement only. This is not a solicitation announcement. This RFI/Sources Sought Notice is market research to help the Department of Veterans Affairs make acquisition decisions. The VA Heartland Network Contracting Office (NCO) 15 is looking for Small Business concerns, which includes Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) and Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), registered in SAM under NAICS code 325992 (Photographic Film, Paper, Plate, Chemical, and Copy Toner Manufacturing), that can provide the line items listed below or equivalent products. This is a Brand or Equal product search, see Statement of Requirements below. Vendors are required to address the following questions to be considered a viable source for future needs; Are you a manufacturer of the Item being requested? - Yes or No. Is the product you can offer made in the USA? - Yes or No. Do you have this item on GSA contract? Yes or No, if yes provide contract #________ Any responses to this Sources Sought notice must include answers to all of the above questions in order to adequately assess the capabilities of the marketplace in relation to the requirements of this procurement. Statement of Requirements (SOR): The Shawnee CMOP, located at 23501 W. 84th St, Shawnee, KS 66227, has a requirement for replacement toners and printer parts for Lexmark MS826 printers that are used in packaging. The facility has 31 Lexmark MS826 printers. Lexmark offers various part numbers that could fulfill this request (see 1.B below for some options). The requested items are genuine Lexmark parts and are tested and approved for use in the printers. Shawnee CMOP will consider alternate products, and should a solicitation be posted, samples will be required for testing and approval before an award. At submission of this request, the Shawnee facility is not running live RX orders but is anticipated to be up and running in October 2024. The Lexmark toners and printer parts are a critical operational supply, as each of the facility packaging stations are equipped with two printers to print the prescription facts that will accompany the medication(s) shipped to the Veteran.
