The existing sprinkler heads outlets are ½ and the new sprinkler heads listed in the SOW are ¾ . A - The hydraulic calculations were done with the existing 1/2 piping.  The noted sprinkler head is available in 1/2 for retrofits or the contractor can propose another manufacturer as equal. Q - Do you have any more detailed drawings for the existing pump and fire riser room? A - See attached PDF. Q - Would like a plan that shows all of the existing electrical service entrance and equipment if available. There s a lot to coordinate coming out of that pump room. A - See attached PDF. Q - Will after hours work only include piping and sprinklers running above head in the warehouse? A - Any activities that could interrupt operations will need to occur after hours, like overhead work. Work in the pump room should not interrupt operations. Q - Who will we be coordinating outages with - the VA facility or the city?  A - With VA. The VA will coordinate fire alarm company and City. Names to be furnished after award.
