Sources Sought Description This is a Request for Information/Sources Sought announcement only. It is not a solicitation announcement. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. The purpose of this sources sought announcement is to request responses from qualified businesses (large and small) interested and capable of providing the following items: Four (4) parts (six each) to make up a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) needed to upgrade the Consolidated Mail Order Pharmacy (CMOP) Think-N-Do Program to operate with the VA-mandated Microsoft Windows 10 update. Current Think-N-Do program is unable to operate on the Microsoft Windows 10 platform. The list is as follows: A-BS 1769-L30ER COMPACTLOGIX 1 MB ~ Quantity 6 A-BS 1769-PA4 CMPLX SELECTABLE AC4 ~ Quantity 6 A-BS 1769-ECRK COMPACTLOGIX RIGHT ~ Quantity 6 PR-S MVI69E-MBTCP MODBUS TCP/IP ENH ~ Quantity 6 The North American Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334118 (1000 employees). This sources-sought notice is part of market research and will be used to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Required Parts: The above listed parts are required by Hines CMOP located in Hines, Illinois, to create a PLC for migrating the stations current software, Think-N-Do, with Windows 10. Response Respondents to the sources sought notice must provide documentation of technical expertise in providing the referenced parts, in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition. Responses to this notice shall include the following: (a) company name (b) address (c) point of contact (d) phone, fax, and email (e) number of employees as defined by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 19.10 and (f) System for Award Management (SAM) registration number. This RFI/Sources Sought is issued solely for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. The government is not obligated to issue a solicitation. All information received in response to this RFI/Sources Sought that is marked as proprietary will be handled accordingly. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Respondents are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI/Sources Sought. Notice to Potential Offerors: All Offerors who provide goods or services to the United States Federal Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) located on the web at www.sam.gov.  Additionally, all SDVOSB or VOSB who respond to a solicitation on this project must be registered with the Department of Veterans Affairs Center for Veterans Enterprise VetBiz Registry located at http://vetbiz.gov. All interested offerors should submit information by email to terri.traul@va.gov.  All information submissions should be received no later than 5PM CST on Monday, July 18, 2022.
