The Minneapolis VA Health Care System is conducting market research for elevator inspection witnessing services at its Minneapolis, Minnesota campus, covering 40 elevators. The contractor would witness Category 1 semi-annual and annual inspections and Category 5 five-year full-load tests, provide QEI-certified inspectors and required documentation, while VA supplies the labor, equipment, tools, and test weights. Inspections occur in May and November, reports are due within 30 days, and work is performed weekdays from 6:00am to 5:00pm excluding weekends and federal holidays.
