The Black Hills VA Healthcare System requires solid waste removal services at the Fort Meade, SD and Hot Springs, SD VA Medical Centers. The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, materials, containers, vehicles, and equipment to collect, remove, and dispose of non-hazardous solid waste, including mattresses, furniture, carpet, cardboard, and rubble, while ensuring regulatory compliance and reporting actual waste weights with monthly billing. Service is scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:00am–4:30pm, with holiday or missed pickups made by the next business day, container repair or replacement within seven calendar days, and oversized waste removal within seven days.
