The Minneapolis VA Health Care System is seeking vendor capabilities for fire alarm system inspection, maintenance, and repair services under a draft Statement of Work, but this is a sources sought for market research only—not a contract award. The required services include annual system inspections, semi-annual testing of Community Living Center smoke detectors and battery chargers, 24/7 alarm monitoring, and emergency callback with 4-hour emergency and 8-hour non-emergency response times. Vendors must supply all parts, materials, and labor, and provide at least two NICET Level II certified technicians plus a NICET Level III service manager, with one technician certified on Gamewell/FCI E3 systems.
