The purpose of this sources sought notice is to gain knowledge of qualified potential contractors and their socioeconomic size classification in accordance with NAICS code 334517 Irradiation Apparatus Manufacturing, size standard 1,500 employees for small business. Responses will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After a review of the responses to this sources sought notice, a solicitation announcement may be posted. A response to this sources sought notice is not an adequate reply to a potentially forthcoming solicitation. The VA Central Iowa Health Care System located in Des Moines, Iowa is seeking qualified potential contractors to provide Premium Wireless 14x17 Cesium (CSI) Cassette Size TFT Panel for Central Iowa VA. Refer to the attached documents titled P09 Final Specifications Wireless 14x17 Cesium Cassette Panel for additional details and information. Specification: Konica Minolta Premium Wireless 14x17 Cesium (CSI) Cassette Size TFT Panel 2237 Funding/ General Equipment Name: Konica Minolta Premium Wireless 14x17 Cesium (CSI) Cassette Size TFT Panel Description: The VA-CIHCS Imaging/Radiology/ Department has an immediate requirement for: two (2) Konica Minolta Premium Wireless 14x17 Cesium (CSI) Cassette Size TFT Panel This is an accessory/additional cassette for existing equipment in a larger size (14X17 vs 10X12). The cassettes must be able to interface (compatible with) with PXS710 High Frequency X-ray Machine, DELL Precision T3450 XE Acquire and Konica Minolta AeroDr Battery Charger 2. Only the Konica Minolta brand is compatible with the Konica Minolta battery charger per attached email from a vendor. This will accommodate foot x-rays for Veterans with larger, swollen or casted/booted anatomy. It enables us to take 1 exposure instead of 2 (less radiation) and provide better imaging quality. Must be 20/20 Imaging HD Momentum DR panel.
