FIBER INTERCONNECT CABLES SUPPLIES This is a sources sought notice only and is not a solicitation announcement. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to gain knowledge of qualified, potential contractors and their socio-economic size classification in accordance with NAICS code 334111 Electronic Computer Manufacturing. The SBA size standard is 1250 employees. Responses will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After a review of the responses to this sources sought notice, a solicitation announcement may be posted. A response to this sources sought notice is not adequate, contractors must reply to a potentially forthcoming solicitation. The VISN 23 VA Health Care System, in multiple locations, is seeking qualified potential contractors to provide Fiber Cables, Transceivers, and SFP Modules compatible with Cisco Nexus 9k switches. The products and quantities needed are as follows: Qty 64- Cisco SFP-25G-SR-S= 25GBASE-SR SFP Modules, which must be Cisco brand name. Qty 32-15 foot fiber cables IS LC-LC MMF 50 MICRO OM4 (assuming LC on the server end). Qty 16- 1000Base- T SFP Transceiver Module for Category 5C. The closing date and time of this sources sought notice is August 5th, 2024 at 10:00 AM Central Time. This is not a solicitation and in no way obligates the government to award any contract. Additionally, a response to this sources sought notice is not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of any forthcoming solicitation.
