STRYKER 9 SYSTEM BRAND NAME, OR EQUAL SURGICAL POWER TOOLS This is a sources sought notice only and is not a solicitation announcement. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to gain knowledge of qualified, potential contractors and their socio-economic size classification in accordance with NAICS code 339112 Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing. Responses will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After a review of the responses to this sources sought notice, a solicitation announcement may be posted. A response to this sources sought notice is not adequate, contractors must reply to a potentially forthcoming solicitation. The Sioux Falls VA Health Care System, located at 2501 W. 22nd St. Sioux Falls, SD 57015, is seeking qualified potential contractors to provide surgical power tools and accessories. The surgical power tools must be brand name or equal to the Stryker System 9 tools. The products sought will be brand name or equal to the following products: System 9 Dual trigger rotary saw, System 9 reciprocating saw, System 9 Sagittal saw, System 9 Sabo sagittal saw, System 9 Cordless Driver Handpiece, System 9 Wire Collet, System 9 Adjustable Pin Collet, Stryker Reamer, System 9 sterile battery charger with NEMA power cord, System 9 small battery, System 9 large battery, Stryker TPX Reciprocating saw, Stryker TPX Oscillating Saw, Stryker TPX Microsaw, Stryker TPX Sagittal Saw, Stryker Microdrill Straight Attachment, Stryker TPX Hand Switch, Stryker TPX Cable, Stryker AO Small Drill, Stryker 5/32in Drill with Key, Stryker 2 Handpiece Insert Tray, and Stryker System 9 Sternum Saw. To respond to this sources sought notice, please complete the attached form titled Response Form to Sources Sought Notice and email the information requested to Chelsea Henize Himes, Contract Specialist, at Chelsea.henizehimes@va.gov. The closing date and time of this sources sought notice is February 15th at 10:00 AM Central Time. This is not a solicitation and in no way obligates the government to award any contract.
