This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of qualified sources to perform the potential requirement. This source sought notice is part of Market Research effort and invites contractors capable of fulfilling the requirement in accordance with the Statement of Work and Salient Characteristics. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. See the Statement of Work immediately below. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 23, is conducting market research to identify potential sources which can provide the following: VACIHCS has a requirement for a service package to provide planned and unplanned service on one Dornier Opus cystology system located at the VACIHCS in Des Moines, Iowa. The service package shall ensure that the identified system has all manufacturer s recommended services conducted, and provide supporting documentation for all services and work provided. The service shall also provide any manufacturer recommended software upgrades that improve the performance of the equipment. The service shall require a service representative phone response within 4 hours of a service call, and an on-site response for unplanned service events within 48 hours of placing a service call.
