The VA requires the medical gas system at the Omaha and Grand Island VA facilities in Nebraska to be inspected and assessed for wear and tear, end of life, and compliance with necessary standards. The outcome of the inspection and assessment will help the VA achieve a full understanding of the health and functionality of the medical gas systems along with an understanding of how well the systems meet necessary standards and compliance measures.
