HEPACART MOBILE CONTAINMENT & FILTRATION UNIT (BRAND NAME OR EQUAL) This is a sources sought notice only and is not a solicitation announcement. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to gain knowledge of qualified, potential contractors and their socio-economic size classification in accordance with NAICS code 333413 Industrial and Commercial Fan and Blower and Air Purification Equipment Manufacturing. Responses will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After a review of the responses to this sources sought notice, a solicitation announcement may be posted. A response to this sources sought notice is not adequate, contractors must reply to a potentially forthcoming solicitation. The Sioux Falls VA Health Care System, located at 2501 W. 22nd St. Sioux Falls, SD 57105, is seeking qualified potential contractors to provide two HEPA cart units. Each HEPA cart must be brand name or equal to the HEPACART 55- Autolift + ALEM. This will include being no more than 29 W x 55 L x 68 Â H when collapsed in order to fit through any three (3) foot door; reaching up to 14 when extended, with an adjustable extension ladder; being rated for at least 1500 pounds and having non-marring and self-braking casters with swivel locks on one end; having a HEPA-filtered negative air machine which is medical grade at 99.99+% at .03 microns, MERV 18 plus, and double gasketed with a fan rated at 750 CFM; an electrical system which is three-way wired for 120 volts and a retractable extension cord, convenience outlets, and lighting; an automated raise/lower mechanism with push buttons which raise the enclosure to 10 6 with two actuators rated for 200 pounds and which raises and lowers with no tools; fabricated with a healthcare approved, antimicrobial, anti-static, fire-resistant, and easy to clean material; two pass thru-slips and an end-entry door with a lock and key set, as well as a window and work order/permit holder; and a negative air indicator (manometer) and a walk-off mat storage compartment below the door.
