This is a Notice of Intent published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.101(a)(1) requiring the dissemination of information regarding proposed contract actions. sole source to a SDVOSB vendor per 38 USC 8127(c) for a warehouse service bridge contract for VISN 23 to VSS Logistics LLC, 2025 Louisville Rd Ste C, Savannah, GA 31415. VSS Logistics LLC currently provide warehouse services under Contract 36C26321P0279 for multiple years. The Department of Veteran Affairs has determined that VSS Logistics LLC is a certified SDVOSB responsible contractor, the amount of procurement is below $5 Million and the previous contract was found to be fair and reasonable. Per Veteran Administration Acquisition Regulations (VAAR) 819.7008, Sole source awards to verified service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, the Department of Veteran Affairs has determined that awarding a short-term follow-on contract to VSS Logistics LLC is in the best interest of the government and save significant costs versus solicitating and procuring a new contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 493110 and the service code is S215. The Government understands that VSS Logistics LLC is the only vendor that can provide the requested maintenance service for the XXX. However, vendors that believe they can provide the capabilities required to fully meet the Government's requirement may submit information in writing to John.milroy@va.gov by 4:00 PM 04/13/2023.
