The... This is a PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE-REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) only. The Government has a requirement for a QA detector array device at the Minneapolis Veteran Affairs Health Care System (VAHCS). The Government intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this notice. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS OR PRICING AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS NOTICE. This notice shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Department of Veterans Affairs. Responses to this RFI will be treated only as information for the Government to consider as part of their market research efforts. The information provided will be used by the Government in developing its acquisition strategy regarding possible set aside for Veteran Owned and other socio-economic categories of small business. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary, restricted or competition sensitive information contained in their response. The Government does not intend to pay for the information submitted in response to this RFI and parties responding will not be entitled to payment for direct or indirect costs incurred in responding to this RFI. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 334519, Other Measuring and Controlling Device Manufacturing - with a SBA Small Business Size Standard of 500 employees. 6530 Your response must address capabilities specific to the services required in the below Description of Work, in addition to all other information required below. 1. Please identify any of your firm s existing contract vehicles (e.g., GSA federal supply schedules) which provide services similar to those described in the Description of Work. 2. Point of Contact: Mark Chase (TAG), Contract Specialist: mark.chase1@va.gov Description The Minneapolis VAHCS requires one new QA detector array device to be used in the Surgery Service on linear accelerators. This detector array must be specifically designed to QA test patient treatment plans before performing radiation therapy on patients ensuring correct dosages of radiation are delivered to the correct location inside the patient s body. Requirements: Independent 4D measurement array designed to identify errors in rotational delivery. Meet AAPM Task Group 218 3D measurement requirements, with detector array that measures and correlates gantry angle, leaf-end position, absolute dose and time to identify any potential source of error throughout the patient volume IMRT, VMAT, SBRT, Tomo, Halcyon and MRgRT.
