Statement of Work Satellite TV Access SCOPE: Award to a single company for all labor, transportation, parts, equipment, supplies, and expertise necessary to provide access to, and maintain the Iowa City VA Healthcare System (ICVAHCS) satellite television service, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Contractor shall maintain the current satellite television service for the VA located at 601 Highway 6 West, Iowa City, IA, for approximately 165 televisions. All locations within the hospital are currently wired with coaxial cable. All current Direct TV equipment/receivers are owned by the Iowa City VA Healthcare System. Contractor may provide leased equipment receivers if they choose other than Direct TV satellite option, but the contractor is responsible to install this equipment. Any receivers requiring any upgrades during the contract period will be at the expense of the contractor and will be installed by the contractor. Installation must be scheduled with the VA Electronics Shop. Contractor shall supply the ICVAHCS with the account number and a user name of said account number for the Satellite account. Contractor must supply the following minimum channels. All local channels (CBS, NBC, ABC and FOX) Cartoon Network CNN Discovery PBS/IPTV Fox News TBS TNT USA Weather Channel WB ABC Family AMC Animal Planet Black Entertainment TV Oxygen Outdoor Channel E Entertainment Lifetime Sci-Fi Channel History Channel Spike TV WGN DIY Learning Channel National Geographic Fox Sports Live ESPN ESPN-U ESPN-NEWS ESPN 2 Hallmark Big Ten Network CONTRACT PERIOD: Base Year: 2/1/2023 through 1/31/2024 Option Year I: 2/1/2024 through 1/31/2025 Option Year II: 2/1/2025 through 1/31/2026 Option Year III: 2/1/2026 through 1/31/2027 Option Year IV: 2/1/2027 through 1/31/2028 SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED: Toll-free telephone support for reporting problems with the service and first level troubleshooting via telephone. Response time of 2 hours. Maintenance and Repair services available during normal business hours (8am to 5pm, Monday thru Friday excluding Federal Holidays) for any issues with hardware or connectivity with the system. On-site response time of 4 hours (during normal business) from the time an issue is reported by the VA. Invoicing: Invoices shall be submitted in arrears to the ICVAHCS monthly.
