General Description: The Contractor shall provide a design-build team to develop a complete design and complete construction to replace fire and isolation panels at the Veterans Affairs Central Iowa Health Care System (VACIHCS). Project Objective: Replace the fire panels in Buildings 3, 9, 10 & 24 in order to allow communication with the campus fire alarm control panel. Magnitude of Construction: Between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Solicitation: Solicitation Number 36C26322R0046 for this effort will be posted to Federal Contract Opportunities on or about January 21, 2022. This solicitation will contain all required information necessary to propose on this project. Qualification Packages: Qualifications are tentatively scheduled to be due on or about February 21, 2022 (see solicitation when available for specific time/date). Period of Performance: The estimated period of performance for this project is 226 calendar days. Set Aside: This solicitation is set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses under Public Law 109-461.
