Commissioning Agent (CxA) shall provide Commissioning Services (CxS) for the Design-Build (DB) project; Renovate Building 223 for Pandemic Storage (Project) at the Minneapolis VA Health Care System. The referenced project is Design-Build (DB) and therefore all submittals are to be reviewed internally by the DB team. The Project renovates the Historic Building 223 on the Fort Snelling Campus. Building 223 was originally constructed in 1935 and served as the CCC s Commissary Building through the beginning of World War II. At some point after the War Building 223 was transferred to the VA. Building 223 has served as a warehouse and was partially converted in the 1970 s to serve as a VA Fire Station until sometime in the early 1990 s. Since the 1990 s the building has served as facilities warehouse. This Project will renovate the existing building from the current state of disrepair into a Logistics Storage Facility for Pandemic Supplies and vehicle storage for Facilities Engineering - Grounds Maintenance Department for the Minneapolis VA Health Care System. The project will completely renovate the interior, exterior, MEP, site, and site utilities.
