The Veterans Administration Black Hills Health Care System requires Mobile Vet Center (MVC) RV Storage Service services in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW), see below. This is a sources sought/proof of capability solicitation looking for SDVOSB or VOSB to perform the services per the SOW for market research purposes. No awards of a contract will be made from this announcement. If you are a vendor that can complete the work described in the SOW with competitive pricing, please send your information with a description of proof of capability to: Jeffrey.Brown8@va.gov on or before 5:00 PM Central Time, July 27th, 2022. *If applicable, VAAR Provision, 852.219-77 VA Notice of Limitations on Subcontracting Certificate of Compliance for Services and Construction, will apply to the potential solicitation if set-aside for Veteran Owned Small-Businesses.* STATEMENT OF WORK INTRODUCTION: The purpose of this Statement of Work (SOW) is to outline the tasks and responsibilities of theĆ vendor in supplying a storage facility for the Mobile Vet Center belonging to the Rapid City Vet Center. BACKGROUND: The Rapid City Vet Center is part of Readjustment Counseling Services/VHA providing services throughout South Dakota and western Nebraska. Community based Vet Center facilities. RCS provides a variety of clinical and non-clinical counseling for Veterans and Active-Duty Service Members who served in Combat Arenas or suffering from Military Sexual Trauma, their families, and the families of deceased active-duty service-members. PURPOSE: This vehicle provides logistical and communications support in areas without the ability to provide office space for private counseling, outreach, and civil support. SCOPE: The MVC deploys continuously throughout the year to events and locations all over SD and surrounding states and is required to assist both local, state, and federal agencies in times of crisis and disaster to provide facilities and communications equipment to support their mission for as long as deemed necessary. PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS: RCS/Rapid City Vet Center is requesting vendor provide a storage facility no less than 40 long by 12 wide and 14 high to accommodate the MVC. 110-volt outlets also. FUNCTIONAL AND PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS: This facility must be able to provide 24/7/365 access to the vehicle by Vet Center staff. SECURITY Must have adequate security to ensure the safety of the vehicle. This includes but is not limited to a lockable roll up door and indoor lighting.
