This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, and a Request for Quote (RFQ) is being requested. Solicitation Number: 36C26322Q0572 The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2022-04. The VA anticipates the award of one Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) Contract for all resources and labor necessary to provide Charter Bus Transportation Service for Veterans and Care Givers to support the Iowa City IA National Disabled Veterans Golf Clinic. The event is being held in Iowa City Iowa and transportation may include destinations within a 125-mile radius of Iowa City, Iowa. The contract contains a base period of performance and includes four (4) option periods to be exercised at the discretion of the Government. Review the solicitation document and Itinerary for specific dates and requirements. This procurement is Unrestricted. At the time of submission of offer, offerors shall have an active System for Award Management (SAM) registration. The Department of Labor, Service Contract Labor Standards applies to services provided under the contract which specifies the minimum wages and fringe benefits for workers performing on or in connection with the contract. Evaluation of Commercial Items. Refer to FAR Provision 52.212-2 within the attached solicitation document for information regarding the evaluation of offers. Offer Due Date: Quotes are due to the Contracting Office by June 24, 2022, at 11:00 AM CST. Quotes shall be emailed to john.becker3@va.gov prior to the solicitation closing date and time and include Solicitation Number 36C26322Q0572 in the Subject Line of the email. It is the responsibility of the offeror to ensure their quote is received in full by the Contracting Office before the solicitation closing date and time.
