AIR COMPRESSOR, MEDICAL VACUUM PUMP AND AIR DRYER MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR SERVICES This is a sources sought notice only and it is not a solicitation announcement. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to gain knowledge of qualified, potential contractors and their socio-economic size classification in accordance with NAICS code 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors. Responses will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After a review of the responses to this sources sought notice, a solicitation announcement may be posted. A response to this sources sought notice is not an adequate reply to a potentially forthcoming solicitation. The Central Iowa VA Health Care System located at 3600 30th Street, Des Moines, Iowa 50310, is seeking qualified potential contractors to provide Air Compressor, Medical Vacuum Pump and Dryer Maintenance and Repair Services. The work required consists of performing preventive maintenance and repairs, as necessary, on the control air compressors, medical air compressors, medical vacuum pumps, air dryers and related components shown in the equipment list throughout the Des Moines VA facility. Contractor shall provide trained and certified technicians with at least 2 years of current medical air compressor and medical/dental vacuum equipment medical maintenance services to perform OEM-standard services on equipment in the Statement of Work. All work shall be performed by medical air certified technicians specifically qualified and trained to work on medical/dental air compressor and medical/dental vacuum equipment. Documentation demonstrating the qualifications of personnel shall be provided to the VA.
