BOILER COMBUSTION TUNING AND SAFETY DEVICE TESTING SERVICES This is a sources sought notice only and it is not a solicitation announcement. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to gain knowledge of qualified, potential contractors and their socio-economic size classification in accordance with NAICS code 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors. Responses will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After a review of the responses to this sources sought notice, a solicitation announcement may be posted. A response to this sources sought notice is not an adequate reply to a potentially forthcoming solicitation. The Iowa City VA Health Care System located at 601 Highway 6 West, Iowa City, Iowa 52246-2208, is seeking qualified potential contractors to provide Boiler Combustion Tuning and Safety Device Testing Services. The work required consists of providing boiler safety device testing and combustion tuning, including all labor (including staff with proper certifications, licenses, and/or qualifications to perform such services in the State of Iowa), supervision, management, management support, supplies, ancillary equipment, vehicles and materials necessary for accomplishment of complete boiler safety device testing and combustion tuning services. The services will be performed in Iowa City, Iowa, on the following equipment: Boiler #1 (Make: English Boiler; Model: 20 Dr 200; Serial #31050 3) Boiler #2 (Make: English Boiler; Model: 20 Dr 200; Serial #31050 2) Boiler #3 (Make: English Boiler; Model: 20 Dr 200; Serial #31050 1) Condensate Tank (Make: Industrial Alloy Fabricators; Model: RT-3; Serial #S1340) Deaerator Tank (Make: Cleaver Brooks; Model SMP-70-2400; Serial # 04561-1-1) To respond to this sources sought notice, please complete the attached form titled Response Form to Sources Sought Notice and email the information requested to Angela Stewart, Contract Specialist, at angela.stewart438@va.gov.
