Page 4 of 4 OFFERORS READ THIS INFORMATION FIRST FOR IMPORTANT OFFER INFORMATION This a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This is a solicitation conducted using FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, and a Request for Quote (RFQ) is being requested. Solicitation Number: 36C26322Q0146 The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2022-01 dated 12/06/2021. This procurement is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) entities. At the time of submission of offer and prior to award, the offeror must be verified by the VA and be listed in the Vendor Information Pages (VIP). All offerors shall have an active System for Award Management (SAM) registration at the time of offer and prior to contract award. The VA anticipates the award of a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract for Electrical Grid Maintenance Service to support the Nebraska Western Iowa Health Care System (NWIHCS). See Statement of Work and Price/Cost Schedule for specific requirements. The period of performance is from March 1, 2022 to February 28, 2023 and includes four (4) one-year option periods to be exercised at the discretion of the Government. The Department of Labor (DOL), Service Contract Act (SCA), Wage Determination (WD) Labor Standards applies to services provided under the contract and is provided as an attachment to this announcement. The WD specifies the minimum wages and fringe benefits for workers performing services on or in connection with the contract. Site Visit. Offerors are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.
