Fargo Veterans Affairs Medical Center, located in Fargo South Dakota, has a requirement to perform an Asbestos Inspection and Management Plan. The Period of Performance is January 1, 2022- June 30, 2022. The government intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) and award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract to the responsible vendor whose quote is the most advantageous to the Government under the procedures in FAR 13.5 used in accordance with 41 U.S.C 1901. Market research indicates that this acquisition will be competed as a Total Set-Aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses (SDVOSB). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 541620 with a size standard of $16.5 M. All interested and responsible parties may submit a quote following solicitation release. The solicitation will be posted to the Government Point of Entry website (https://beta.sam.gov) on or about December 3, 2021. SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS The Department of Veterans Affairs is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support a requirement to create a comprehensive management tool capable of quickly identifying all asbestos hazards in text and graphic formats for the VA Health Care System (HCS), Fargo, ND. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement.
