Solid Waste removal services for the residential housing and National Guard Quarters located on the Fort Meade facility grounds are not included in this contract. Solid waste may include used mattresses, broken furniture, used carpeting, bundled cardboard, construction rubble, etc. Solid waste will not include any items considered hazardous waste, medical waste, or waste defined by the EPA as being not general solid waste. Approximate Annual Waste Hot Springs: 130 Tons Fort Meade: 350 Tons
