All information received in response to this RFI is marked as proprietary and will be handled accordingly. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. SOURCES SOUGHT DESCRIPTION This is NOT a solicitation announcement. This is an RFI/sources sought only. The purpose of this sources sought/RFI is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification relative to two (2) North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes. Please respond if your company can perform work using 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction (size standard of 39.5M) or 238120 Structural Steel and Precast Concrete Contractors (size standard of $16.5M) for a project with an Estimated Magnitude of Construction between $10,000,000 and $20,000,000. Responses to this sources sought synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources sought synopsis, a solicitation announcement may be published. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses for a solicitation announcement. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network 23 Contracting Office (NCO 23), is seeking sources that can provide the construction services described in the Statement of Work attached hereto. Please note that these requirements are not finalized and are subject to change based on the responses to this RFI and Government needs. The information identified below is intended to be descriptive, not restrictive, and to indicate the quality of the supplies/services that will be satisfactory. It is the responsibility of the interested source to demonstrate to the Government that the they can provide the supplies/services that fulfill the requirement. If you are interested and capable of providing the required construction services under the appropriate NAICS code as a small business, please submit the attached questionnaire along with any additional information that your company wishes to provide to demonstrate its capability for this specific project. Responses to this notice shall be submitted via email to Cynda Rosa at cynda.rosa@va.gov. Telephone responses shall not be accepted. Responses must be received no later than Friday, April 16, 2021 at 10:00 am (Central Time). A solicitation may be issued for this requirement at a later date. All interested parties must respond to the solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this sources sought synopsis. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation.
