Notice of Intent to execute a Sole Source Lease in Cedar Rapids, IA The Veterans Health Administration anticipates awarding a sole-source real property Succeeding lease for a Readjustment Counseling Veteran Center to DEB Properties INC of Cedar Rapids, IA The required lease will meet the detailed requirements as posted in the sources sought dated and titled, 13 May 2021 X1AA Proposed Succeeding Lease in Cedar Rapids IA New Replacing Vet Center. NIACS code 531120 applies to this procurement. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. In accordance with GSAR 570.402, use of the sole source authority is appropriate where it is determined that award to any other offeror would result in substantial duplication of costs to the Government that are not expected to be recovered through competition. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Comments regarding this announcement must be received no later than 15:00pm CDT on July 8, 2021.
