THIS IS A TOTAL 100% SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB) SET-ASIDE. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office 23 (NCO23) intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to award a single, firm fixed-price contract. Contractor shall furnish all supervision, tools, labor, materials, equipment and transportation necessary for Project Number 636-20-921 Remove and Replace Automatic Doors located at NWIHCS Omaha VA Medical Center, 4101 Woolworth Ave, Omaha, NE 68105. The contractor will provide all labor and materials needed to remove and replace two (2) existing automatic doors at the Omaha VA Medical Center and install one (1) PIV card reader. One door at the Education Conference Room (ECR) entrance and one at the Emergency Room (ER) entrance. The PIV card reader to be installed on the exterior of the audiology door entrance. Work includes openings, electronic safety and security, and all necessary work as described in the construction documents. The applicable NAICS Code under this acquisition is 238290 - Other Building Equipment Contractors with a $16.5 Million small business size standard. The magnitude of construction cost range for this project is less than $25,000.
