VA Black Hills Heath Care System, located in Fort Meade and Hot Springs, South Dakota, has a requirement to preform Pharmacy and Room Hood Certifications and Maintenance. The Period of Performance is July 26, 2021- July 25, 2022 with four option year periods. The government intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) and award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract to the responsible vendor whose quote is the most advantageous to the Government under the procedures in FAR 13.5 used in accordance with 41 U.S.C 1901. Market research indicates that this acquisition will be competed as a Total Set-Aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses (SDVOSB). SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS The Department of Veterans Affairs is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support a requirement for the testing, certification, repair, and maintenance of pharmacy and laboratory hoods for Veterans Affairs Black Hills Health Care System located at Fort Meade and Hot Springs, SD. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 811219 Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. Requirements: Semi-annual testing and certification shall be conducted approximately every 5 months for Pharmacy IV hoods and Pharmacy rooms. Annual testing and certification for laboratory hoods. Service call for hoods or rooms to identify and/or resolve issues in the hoods or rooms and provide report of issues found and work completed. Rate Recovery Test to determine impacts to temperature, humidity, pressure differentials, ACPH, and ISO classification when HVAC and Exhaust is shut off. shall be responsible for all equipment, materials, transportation required to conduct services.
