THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS OR PRICING AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS NOTICE. This notice shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Department of Veterans Affairs. The Department of Veterans Affairs Network 23 Contracting Office (NCO 23), on behalf of The US Department of Veterans Affairs Health Care System of Minneapolis, MN, hereinafter referred to as MVAHCS located at One Veterans Drive, Minneapolis, MN 55417, contemplates issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ) in order to award a single, firm fixed-price contract for provision of Chiller and Boiler Water Treatment. The performance period will be from time of contract award through end of the 1-year base period, currently estimated to be 7/1/2021 6/30/2022. There will also be a potential 4 Option Years offered for this contract. The solicitation and any subsequent award will be conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 13 and 13.5, and relevant sections of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Veterans Administration Acquisition Regulation (VAAR). The tentative issue date for any actual solicitation will follow on/about March 22, 2021. The date is not firm and may change due to events out of our control. The solicitation posting location is the Beta.Sam.Gov Contract Opportunities website at https://beta.sam.gov/. Offerors are responsible for checking the website regularly to obtain possible amendments. All parties must obtain all notices and amendments to the solicitation through this website. Hard copies will not be mailed. Proposals must be submitted in accordance with the proposal instructions outlined in the solicitation. Proposals will be due not less than 15 days after the issuance of any solicitation. Applicable NAICS code is 238220 Chiller and Boiler Water Treatment. SBA Small Business Size Standard is $30 Million. This requirement is a FULL and OPEN competition. All qualified offerors are invited to provide their proposal. The Contractor shall provide all labor, supplies, equipment, and required vehicles and service in accordance with the RFQ Performance Work Statement (PWS).
