STATEMENT OF WORK- FY21 Veterans Affairs Health Care Systems (VAHCS) Energy Center- Minneapolis, Minnesota Chiller and Boiler Water Treatment Chemical Water Treatment Supplies and Services Introduction: The chemical water treatment contractor shall provide all supplies and technical advisory services for proper chemical treatment of all boiler and chiller water systems located at the Minneapolis VA Health Care facility. VAHCS Energy Center employees shall be responsible for continuous feeding of chemicals and performing water tests with oversight by the contractor. In addition, the contractor shall periodically verify the proper operation of non-chemical water treatment systems which serve the boiler plant including: Feedwater DE aerator, water softener, reverse osmosis systems (if applicable), //dealkalyzer// and continuous blowdown. The goals are safety, reliability and longevity of the steam and condensate piping and equipment in the boiler plant, in the steam distribution system and in the various buildings of the VA facility. This is an abbreviated Statement of Work; the full Statement of Work shall accompany the Solicitation.
