The purpose of this notice is to announce that Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 23 contracting office & the Iowa City VAHCS is inviting vendors who provide automated positive patient identification systems for the collection of inpatient laboratory specimens (primarily blood, but also urine, stool, swabs, and other inpatient specimens.) To schedule a Virtual Industry Day. Due to the current environment the VA is offering interested vendors the date range of December 1, 2020 to December 22, 2020 to schedule a Virtual meeting. VA is not, at this time, seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. The responses provided to this notice will be used by the members of an Integrated Project Team (IPT) as stated at FAR 15.201(e), to derive price, delivery, and other market information; to include capabilities for planning purposes.
