Contractor shall furnish all labor, parts, materials, and supervision for the replacement of existing steam and condensate piping from Building 14 to Building 30. The existing steam and condensate return piping is enclosed in a concrete duct bank. The existing piping is insulated with asbestos insulation and will require asbestos abatement. This project is located at the Hot Springs VA Medical Center located in Hot Springs, SD. Work includes, but is not limited to, general construction, alterations, electrical, and air conditioning skills necessary for the completion of this project. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications and drawing of the solicitation and all applicable local and VA codes. Solicitation Number 36C26320R0163 for this effort will be posted to Beta Sam (beta.sam.gov) on July 28, 2020. This solicitation will contain all necessary Scope of Work, specifications, drawing, and other information necessary to bid the project. An Organized Site Visit IS scheduled for this project. (See solicitation for specific information regarding a Site Visit). Proposals are due on August 18, 2020. (see solicitation for time/date for receipt of proposals). The Period of Performance is expected to be 60 calendar days from the receipt of the contract award.
