This is a PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE The U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs Health Care System, Nebraska Western Iowa, hereinafter referred to as VA NWIHCS, requires a contractor to provide on-site Microwave Ablation (MWA) and Cryoablation procedures, on a scheduled basis, in accordance with the specifications, terms and conditions of the solicitation. All work to be performed at the VA Medical Center, 4101 Woolworth Avenue, Omaha, NE 68105. Contractor is responsible for providing all supplies, materials, equipment and labor to perform the services. Contractor will provide all needed mobile ablation equipment, supplies, and an experienced technician who is trained and fully qualified to assist and support VA Radiology Interventionist Physicians using the Microwave ablation and Cryoablation mobile equipment. Services are required for complex MWA and Cryoablation procedures in order to optimize successful patient outcomes. Generally, the VA will provide a minimum of 48 hours notice. However, there may be emergency situations that will require same day services or wok on a holiday. Contractor shall comply with all appropriate and applicable policies, procedures and regulations of the VHA and VA NWIHCS, and ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards and guidelines. The NAICS code assigned to this procurement will be 621512 with a size standard of $16.5 million. The VA will award one firm, fixed-price, indefinite delivery indefinite quantity commercial services contract. Contract use will be limited to VA NWIHCS only. The solicitation will contain requirements for a 12-month base year with four (4) 12-month options to renew. Service will begin November 1, 2020 through October 31, 2021, for the Base Year. The solicitation is scheduled to be issued on or about September 11, 2020 and will be issued via Contract Opportunities Electronic Posting System at https://beta.sam.gov/.
