This Notice of Intent is for a proposed award of a sole source firm fixed price contract to the following contractor in support of Digital Cable TV to 117 Connections in support of VA Black Hills Health Care, Hot Springs Campus, 500 North 5th Street, Hot Springs, SDÂ 57747. Golden West DUNS: 041238437 2727 N Plaza Drive Rapid City, SDÂ 57702 This is done under authority of 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1: Only one source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This is not a request for competitive quotes. Hot Springs, South Dakota is a small rural community of least than 4,000 residents. The Hot Springs VA provides primary and secondary medical care, along with residential rehabilitation treatment program services and extended nursing home care. The vendor, Golden West, is the only vendor in the area that provides a reliable digital cable TV and internet service in this rural community of Hot Springs, South Dakota The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this service is 517311. (Wired Telecommunication Carriers) and the Product Service Code (PSC) is D304 (IT and Telecom/ Telecommunications and Transmissions). While this synopsis does not constitute a solicitation, interested vendors may identify their interest and capability to satisfy the requirement, that such contractor could provide this service as an authorized reseller, authorized dealer or third party.
