The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate method. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), NCO 23- St Cloud is requesting procurement information for Bien Air Dental Motor or EQUAL for the Omaha VA Health Care System located in Omaha NE. The VA is in search of SDVOSB/VOSB or Small Business organizations that are capable of servicing the Omaha VA Health Care System s need to procure the following: Scope: Vendor shall provide the following: General: Micromotor console with internal irrigation system and internal peristaltic pump Motor speed 100 to 100,000 rpm / maximum torque 8 Newton Centimeters (N-cm), Self- ventilated with adjustable LED light Programmed with at least seven (7) of the main implant systems, with 10 steps each. Must have Endodontic mode with memory of at least 10 steps Must have at least 4 separate surgery modes/programs Must also include auxiliary handpiece attachments including: Straight handpiece, 1:2 ratio for 45 mm burs w/ disposable nose cones Contra angle attachment, 1:5 ratio with light in a micro series Contra-angled handpiece attachment, 20:1 ratio with light, micro series Must include cables 10 feet in length. Date of manufacture must not be greater than 1 years before the purchase order date. The equipment must not be used or refurbished and must have the latest manufacturer s software/hardware updates installed.  Any batteries provided with the unit will not be manufactured more than 6 months before the purchase order issue date.
