Due to urgent & compelling requirements, the Minneapolis VA Health Care System anticipates awarding a sole-source procurement to The Lass Corporation of Houston Texas for one million three ply surgical face masks in support of VISN 23 for the COVID19 Emergency. NAICS code is 339113, size standard 750 employees applies to this procurement. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. No solicitation will be issued. A determination not to compete this proposed contract is based solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Justification and Approval document will be made available via FBO in accordance with FAR 6.305.
